Is the attack on “tax havens” an attack on corporate
abuses or an attack on privacy, freedom and capital
controls by another name? Is our model to force control
of capital and then send it to insiders at below market
prices? Is this why everything feels so Orwellian these
days? Is the intelligence and joy of market competition
missing?

The Beast is on the prowl. He is wearing sheeps clothing, pretending to care and do good…meanwhile, he is devouring his prey!

Of course this is Orwellian. These people will stop at nothing to get total control. As an American living in Asia, it really sucks to be us! Even the French can legally take advantage offshore products like portfolio bonds and savings wrappers. No one will accept Americans anymore. Even the IFA who cold call me now hang up when I say I’m an American. In addition, it’s utterly ridiculous for me to pay taxes in the US when I pay them in my host country. I make money in this country and I’ve lived here for over 10 years–I owe the US Nazi government nothing! If this is some sort of bribe just to keep my blue passport, they can have the thing–I’ll gladly trade it in.
