  2. the reports of people living in Israel cannot be trusted unless that person actually was in the vicinity of the asserted incidents and saw it with their own eyes. otherwise, all of their information came directly or indirectly from the media; i.e., their opinion of the situation has been programmed. distance from the incident area does not indicate more reliable information if that information came from the media.

    1. Does seem to me that there was a good chance that there was a smart phone video campaign designed to mislead people.

      1. Have not watched. Have read the book on the genocide of the German POWs and heard personal stories. Was very brutal.

  5. Regarding the farmer not having enough water to grow hay for his cow, here’s a story from AZ about Saudi Arabia growing hay in in the US to use our water and shipping the hay back to Saudi Arabia.

  6. this may not relate here but of interest: Barry Sanders “A is for Ox” 2004 What happens to the human community with out oral or written tradition. (we are putting our kids on machines) The very young need to be spoken to, or the ability to be human is taken away. They will not have the possibility to look at morality or creativity. 

    1. Yes! Further, writing with pen & paper activates the right brain helping to bring balance. Moving images put people into a dream state – which also interrupts our ability to dream. I’m afraid we’ve lost them unless we can find a way to activate the natural world in such a way as to draw them in.

  9. Hi Catherine – could you comment on David Webb’s The Great Taking? I heard you briefly reference it in yesterday’s Money and Markets Report, but it would be helpful to know how to potentially protect retirement assets, such as IRAs, brokerage accounts. A deep dive on this topic, and your thoughts on the probability of the scenario David Webb outlines, would be helpful. Thank you.

      Comment on it in Ask Catherine this week. Check that out. I will interview David in November and publish a book review before hand. Essentially what I have said is that Mr. Global wants total control of all assets and can do so with financial transaction control – whether real estate, precious metals, securities, bank deposits or other assets. David is proposing what he believes is the mechanism to grab securities. Important to appreciate with financial transaction control, whatever the specific mechanism, the leadership intend to assert control of all assets. This is war for all human and property rights.

I have been considering moving to a self directed IRA w/ a non-bank custodian that can then invest in coins housed within an offshore precious metal depository, with direct title to the assets. Does this protect to some degree from the impending derivative implosion w/bank, brokerage firms? Would love your opinion as to what we can do in the near term.

        1. If it is in an IRA or owned by a US citizen, the servicer will obey the directions of the US government including on a confiscation.

    This is not a question but rather just sharing a small incident with you as part of the big picture.

    I tend to associate with like-minded people so I need to be aware of what the others are thinking (or not thinking, as the case may be).

    I am currently in a small town in Saxony, Germany. Over the weekend there was a street fair. The posters announced that they would be offering entertainment (in other words loud music) and street food with all sorts of delicacies, including insects.

    I went to the street festival to investigate the insect stand and it was doing good business. Prices ranged from EUR 3 to EUR 5 for a little critter snack. Delights included a grasshopper on a cracker, a cricket on a chocolate wafer and little edible bowls (like they have at MacDonald’s for ketchup) filled with maggots. But not only bugs. They also had worms marinated in vodka. People of all ages were actually buying this stuff and eating it. O how the masses have been brainwashed.

    1. Propaganda, mind control and consent engineering are not limited to media, they can be applied in the real world by those who set “examples” for others.

      See the academic papers and institutional departments in charge of “nudging”, which is a form of consent engineering at scale. As with the laundering of money, votes, data and ideas, new real-world business sectors can be launched with prepackaged “customers”.

      Social contagion can be weaponized.

      1. Indeed. Have been tracking sophisticated “nudging” for years with social prestige and financial incentives.

      1. Another incident: A friend of mine who lives in the German city of Essen told me that they are banning flea markets.
        I strongly suspect that people sell their grandmother’s souvenir salt and pepper shakers or their old skis and don’t declare it on their taxes. But the state is not going far enough. They should also ban birthday and Christmas presents.
