Jason Nightingale (1948–2017), founder of Wordsower International ministry, had an extraordinary gift of memory that made his ministry totally unique. Having been trained as an actor, he had the ability to memorize long passages. He began to recite Scripture from memory to congregations.
Hearing and following the text in this way brings it to life. Jason Nightingale’s acting talent allowed him to place the right emphasis on the words, bring the perfect cadence to the passages, and use the effect of breath and pause to help the listener understand the narrative in a way likely not experienced before.
All religious cultures on some level know the value and the practice of memorizing the Holy Word. This is a fine example of how to continue such gifts even in our more and more secular times.

Obituary by William Roach about Jason Nightingale, “The Wordsower”
I had not heard of this man and his ministry. What a blessing of a life devoted to the Word. Thank you for sharing!
Even better is Jason’s recitation of REVELATION. WOW! Go to SETTINGS and slow it down a notch for the full IMPACT… (it has a rocky start but recovers in the first minute). I loved when he said, (3:47) “I know how you are slandered by those who claim to be Jews but are not; they are Satan’s synogogue.”

HOPING TO CLARIFY who is “THE OTHER:” The “synogogue” is not simply Jews. Maj-Gen Arthur Cherep-Spiridovich wrote about them in 1926 calling them the Judeo-Mongols in his book: THE SECRET WORLD GOVERNMENT.” His book appealed to “the Jews and Gentiles alike, that they may join hands in purging society of its enemies, be they Jewish plotters or Gentile participants…. The Jews should bring to bay the ‘satanists,’ who corrupt the countries in which they have found asylum; the Gentiles should make harmless every Judas, who accepts the bribes of the Jews. Together they should eliminate from authority the man who ‘sells his birthright;’ equally with him, who, taking advantage of his weaker brother, ‘buys it for a mess of pottage.'”
What a talented and gifted orator! May he rest in peace. Thank you so much for sharing his gifts! I will bookmark his website.
Such impressive use of his gifts. An anthroposophical actor gave us the Gospel of John at a conference in 2002. It was riveting.
