always loved van the man …but never has his lyrics been so epic and relevant to our current oppressed human condition…..solztenisin would have endorsed such a song…..it does my heart good to know this level of talent is on the right team..take note hollywood sellouts….history can be a bitch.
Brilliant as always! The elements of lockdown in the U.K. have been more invasive than here with seniors being forced to receive food parcels from the government during the first seven or so months. They could not even go out for groceries. Technocracy is more advanced there in my opinion, with the massive network of CCTV cameras using facial recognition and cozy TV ads for “smart meters.” Collective good as a cultural value is twisted to serve the state’s purposes using strategies like “clap for our careers/NHS” and highlighting Santa Claus figures like Major Tom to push the message “we are all in this together.” Smart grid and 5G installation continues apace.
Thankfully, more people are starting to wake up and protest.
I wonder what is really in the food.
There was so much chaos last February, that there’s really no telling what kind of food older people were getting, But, it made them completely dependent on the state. Now this is happening in universities in the UK because the country opened up for two weeks to let them start the Fall term, them immediately locked them in their dorm rooms due to an uptick in covid “cases.” Now they are getting food delivered by the university dining service. There was a pick for the U.K. program over the Spring and Summer where out of work people did hard farm labor to try to get the harvest in: really a kind of slavery option. It got lots of push back from the middle class. I’m glad Van mentioned Imperial College, London.
Love this! Thanks.
