Thank you! Lovely series. I suggest one addition to the “recovered” section, although it stretches the category a bit: Dresden’s Frauenkirche. Certainly one of the greatest buildings of the Baroque (in my opinion THE greatest), destroyed in the fire bombing of Dresden and then re-built by the Germans after unification. That is something certainly wonderfully “recovered.”
