  1. Great Interview! I would also be interested in “Economics for the Basically Clueless” one thing I love about your information is that someone like me who has dyscalculia (inability to do math) can still understand the basic concepts you present and the practical suggestions you have, even if to me it seems like you get there by “magic” because for me it might as well be “magic.” lol

    1. Thank you! I didn’t know about investopedia, so thanks. I agree with you about vocabulary… and to that point, the first term I will look up is ‘bond market’!! I look forward to economics 101. Still feel a curriculum for women would be fab…

  2. Great interview (as usual). Read some of Troll Comments in his YouTube channel. Either some people are really brainwashed OR they are definitely NOT ready for the Red Pill (or BOTH!). Thanks for the Head Up for the Greg Hunter interview ….

  3. Thank you for this very good interview. I have a question. First a little background…I’ve been a subscriber for about a year and I really enjoy the Solari Report. I struggle, however, to understand economics: the nature of the money system, how it works, who organizes it, the banking system, the stock market, the money connection between corporations and gov’t, the flow of money from federal to state to local gov’ts, etc. etc. I would describe myself as an artsy homemaker who home-schooled her kids and now reads and writes on social issues…pretty removed from the world of finances, pretty frustrated with my lack of education and knowledge in that area, but also pretty sure it is important to understand because of the role money plays in creating a healthy life for us and our planet. I feel I have learned a lot listening to you and to the Solari Report however there are still giant grey areas of fog regarding finances, the economy, the flow of money, the banking system, and even basic vocabulary. Can you recommend any online educational programs, YouTube series, book series, or anything that would better help me understand how our economy works? I know so many women who feel the same way I do and just don’t speak out because of our lack of knowledge, lack of a vocabulary, and lack of understanding. Have you, or have you ever thought of putting together an educational series on money for women? I really enjoy listening to you because, even though sometimes I get lost in the discussion (I use the rewind button a lot!), you are not intimidating or dismissive and you inspire me to ‘hang in there’.

    1. Jane:

I will republish our old curriculum Economics 101 this week. I need to dig out of the library. That could be a good first step.

The best way to understand the economy and financial system is to learn the basic words. Every time you hear a financial term, look it up in wikipedia and investopedia. I have found that once you learn approximately 200-300 basic terms, things start to click. You need to just not give up.

If a word does not make sense, fine to ask me questions in Ask Catherine.

I will think about how to do a curriculum. If I can come up with an approach that I think will be useful, I will do it. Just have to meditate on it a bit.

Please keep asking questions – helps me understand how to organize the information in a way that is most useful.

      1. Another thought: some kind of an online ‘FORUM FOR WOMEN’… where we can log-in together… you as moderator…we sign up in advance and bring prepared questions and you respond to our questions live… I would love that. If it were just for women I would feel so much easier about asking the questions.

        1. Jane:

I have no problem with doing a Solari Report targeted for Women, but it would be open to all subscribers. I am not comfortable with shutting any subscriber out for any reason.
