“The power to tax is the power to destroy.” ~ John Marshall

By Catherine Austin Fitts

This coming week, attorney Carolyn Betts will join me to discuss our theme – taxation. Our goal is to bring a much wider discussion around what we do about paying taxes to a government that is not obeying its own financial management laws and is missing trillions of dollars as its debt skyrockets.

For those who would like to be part of the discussion, please make sure to read our article at the 3rd Quarter 2021 Wrap Up web presentation: “Taxation: With or Without Representation? Who Will Take Action and What Action Will They Take?” This will be published on Thursday, October 28th and available to the public, so please repost and share widely.

The “Going Direct Reset” is systematically tearing apart the small business and farm economies as government mandates erode the integrity of thousands of companies and institutions. As central bankers assert control of sovereign government finances and functions, it is clear that we are entering the blowout phase of the financial coup d’état that the Solari Report has been tracking for years.

Carolyn and I will explore steps that could be taken to change direction. If the federal government will not obey the law, who can enforce the laws related to the use of our tax money? How can we make sure that precious tax proceeds are used in a productive manner for the real economy?

Carolyn serves as Solari’s General Counsel. She has exceptional experience in business, securities, and law, and excels in particularly complex environments – large and small. As both an attorney and investment banker, she has engineered billions of mortgage securities transactions. She has also battled foreclosures on behalf of people with few assets to their name. Having represented Hamilton Securities through years of litigation and deep state tactics, her understanding of the real economy is unique.

In Let’s Go to the Movies, I recommend the 1987 American crime film, The Untouchables, starring Kevin Costner, Sean Connery, and Robert De Niro. The movie is about a strategy to take down Al Capone using a tax evasion case. In other words, the relationship between organized crime and taxes is an old topic.

This is the last week of October, so there is no Money & Markets this week. E-mail your questions for Ask Catherine or post at the Money & Markets commentary here.

Please join me this Thursday, October 28, for the 3rd Quarter 2021 Wrap Up theme.

Talk to you Thursday!

  1. Thanks you so much Catherine and Carolyn for all if your hard work and for this outstanding information.
I’m still weeding through it all.
It would be much easier to read in print. How do I purchase the book? It is not in the bookstore yet.

These are not related to tax but we’re in the article.
I’m retired, live alone and only use my cell phone for communication to save money.
Are landlines phones okay to use?
    Why stop specifically AT&T?
    Is At & T part of T-Mobile?
I heard you speak of a faraday on Financial Rebellion to leave our phone in. Where can I purchase one?

    Thanks so much,
    Nancy

    1. It was mailed to US print + digidgal subscribers on Monday. It will go up in the store by next week. I agree, easier to read in print.

    2. Here is where I get mine: https://shop.faradaydefense.com/

The Taxation Wrap Up should be up at the store by early next week. I am with you – I find it much easier to read in hard copy.

Here is the article I wrote after our first round of serious blockages from AT&T https://constitution.solari.com/recommendation-to-our-subscribers-on-your-e-mail-provider/

We assume that anyone with an AT&T domain email should anticipate that emails we send you may not come through.

    3. Catherine,
Thanks so much for the links and your information.
      I appreciate it very much,
      Best,
      Nancy

  2. What do either of you, Catherine or Carolyn, know about/how do you assess common law non-interest bearing irrevocable trusts? I’m told by CLtrustSolutions.com that with such a trust one files a 1041 instead of a 1040 and that taxes paid via a 1041 are a “donation” to the IRS, that taxation is “voluntary”, self-assessment. Via the 1041 one receives a tax credit that one can spend like FRNs, e.g. to buy a car, real estate etc. Sounds too good to be true. But if it’s true, wow!

    1. I don’t know anything about this and am not understanding what a non-interest-bearing trust would be. Without researching it, the position that taxes paid are a donation to the IRS sounds fishy to me and something that the IRS would challenge.

  3. Here in Australia we have had a compulsory PayAsYouGo system whereby your income tax is deducted in increments from each fortnightly paycheck. At the end of the financila year, you file your income tax declaration and if it is different from your total PAYG amounts then an adjustment is made _ either a refund of the balance or a top up payment.

Even retiree shareholders like myself must pay PAYG.

Any ideas what we can do about that?

  4. Thank you for the fantastic presentation.
Dawn Richardson, legislative watchdog for Natl. Vac. Info Center (NVIC – Barbara Loe Fisher’s org.), on Polly Tommey’s, 10/25 “Tea Time”, reported at about 39:30 that the contract localities must sign to receive covid fiscal relief funds, says that they must abide by executive orders, or return the funds or relinquish property. Seemed tax related..

  5. Girlfriend here,

Thank you both for all of the hard work. Been sharing with as many family and friends as possible.

There seems to be an obtuse money dump going on in Oregon. The daily agriculture news is disturbing to say the least. Local media has sold out big time, can’t stomach E u g e n e W e e k l y. https://eugeneweekly.com/2021/10/14/eugene-can-lead-the-state-on-climate-action/

Recently checked out DMV website and seems like its getting ready for setting new rules? Looks like they are preparing for what Australia is now doing. BIG questions… WHO owns the DMV?!

    1. Hi Jacob! Please expand on what you see going on at the DMV and how it relates to Australia’s lock down. We live in Roseburg and we are very concerned with the direction Oregon is going. Many Thanks!

      1. Stephan,

Girlfriend here- apologies for my delayed response. I just went in circles on the DMV site to try and find what I had seen, wish I had added a link in above comment. It was a list of new rules that are in the works, most left open for editing until further date. The one rule I had seen that made me think of Australia, was something about commercial drivers health history.
And all the Real ID stuff.

We are also deeply concerned with the direction Oregon is heading in. We love this state and the people here. Hoping more folks will be able to break the chain and see whats happening.

  6. Catherine, thank you for this presentation and its nice to finally hear from your attorney as well. My concern is that as Solari members, being barely organized, not even a co-op farm for food security, at least not in my neck of the woods, we now are going to have to go to the GroupThink crowd and get buy-in on doing a collective right of offset to the IRS? Ouch!

    1. No, you should only do what makes sense from your point of view. If you had a local attorneys group or AG who was willing to take action, you could support them. This does not require group think. An IPO is not a group think. It is a collective that responds to support a group that takes action.

  7. Speaking of broad and deep corruption, I seem to recall an FBI comment in 2003 to the effect that mortgage fraud was endemic.
That’s the man in the street, but enabled from the top.

  8. Thank you so much Catherine and Carolyn for this presentation on taxation. I am amazed how many avenues we can pursue; we need to start chipping away at it. It is possible.

    1. Pam, you walked away more optimistic than I on this presentation and this is not a reflection on the presentation, but more on I don’t see how its possible, especially if it involves the GroupThink crowd. To be clear, not seeing where or how it’s possible does not mean I don’t want to do something. This is why I am reaching out to you, if you have some idea of how it can be possible, hit me up on Solari Connect as I would love to learn more because this is major.

      1. Glad to hear from you Luis. I’ve been advising some volunteer health choice groups in my state. They’re doing many good things, being involved but one of the scary things is they don’t understand their rights, or others’ and that it’s their responsibility to stand up for themselves. They are a panicked mob who will take the bait and push for laws expanding government power over employers, most of whom aren’t misbehaving. So I’m with you on the challenges of group think on both sides of the issue.

Here’s the positives. Through them I’m meeting legislators, which gives me a chance to explain law and learn what their problems are, how they’re being thwarted. What I see with the honest ones is a genuine desire to do something but they’re not sure what that should be. They were upended too.

Catherine’s presentation opens up many more solutions. The attorney general has quite a bit of authority. If we build these relationships and listen, we will find one or more of her ideas apply.

You may feel like you don’t have legal training but you have something more important – an inquisitive mind and ability to see.

        1. Did you join connect.solari.com? Just do a search for Solari Circles and the post will explain how.

  9. where’s the audio with Dr Farrell? I watched half of it and when I returned I could’t find it anymore.

    1. This commentary is for the one that posts on Thursday. There are two commentaries for the NTS with Dr Farrell, Part I and Part II. You can see them on the home page – Part II is on the same row or do a search or check the tablepress at top.
