2023 Annual Wrap Up: News Trends & Stories, Part I with Dr. Joseph P. Farrell

1. On Ukraine and Russia. As I mentioned in a post below, I lived in Ukraine before and during the Orange Revolution (2003-2004).  Also, from my education, I now have some friends who work higher up in some of the Russian Oligarchies. I don’t get to speak with them too often now because of what has happened.

   If one wants to understand what is going on in Ukraine, one has to take a bit of a deeper view beyond the last couple of years. Ukraine has only existed as an entity separate from Russia since the early 1990s. Before, it was always part of Russia or the Soviet Union. This was all just one country. There is some historical nuance between the Kiev Russians and those from Moscow and St. Petersburg; culturally and linguistically, they are close. The exception in Ukraine is the area around Lviv. This is the historically Rus area that was part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. They speak a different language, now known as Ukrainian, and many are Catholic instead of Orthodox.  When I was living in Ukraine, pretty much everyone spoke Russian; the TV was in Russian, and only in visiting Lviv did I first hear people actually speak Ukrainian in the streets.

   I was in Odessa. The modern Russian language was invented there by Puskin. The mutiny on the Battleship Potemkin happened there, which helped spark the Russian Revolution. While Odessa is deep in Ukraine, it is known through film, books, and history as a Russian city. 

   Under the Soviet Union and pretty much up until 2013, there was complete freedom of movement. People we knew had families that had moved to Moscow for better jobs, and people from all over Russia came to Odessa in the summer to enjoy the beaches and the summer nightclubs. Odessa’s economy was very dependent on Russia, and Russia’s economy was also heavily dependent on Ukraine.

   That doesn’t mean people in Odessa wanted to be ruled over by thugs in Moscow. The reason that the Orange Revolution and later the 2013 Coup worked was because the oligarchs running things generally did an extremely poor job. However, the Ukrainians also know how violent the Maidan coup was in 2013. I remember the people being burned alive in Odessa because they objected to the new government. And that new government went right to work shelling Donetsk because those citizens decided not to go along.

   I bring up the history because Russians really see Ukraine as an extension of Russia. While many Ukrainians want to be separate from rulers in Moscow, they also have family and economic interests intimately tied to Russia. The reality of the difference between Ukraine and Russia is far blurrier in reality than the media makes it out to be.

   As for what Russia wants – they were happy with the status quo prior to the Orange Revolution in 2004. The Orange Revolution was the Western-backed orange party led by Viktor Yushchenko and the blue party led by Moscow puppet Viktor Yanukovich. Yushchenko and the West temporarily won, but Moscow was able to walk it back, and in the 2013 Coup, it was again Moscow’s Yanukovich who was run out. The Orange Revolution was the nice version, and 2013 was the violent version when Victoria Nuland didn’t get her way the first time.

   What Russia wants is for 2013 to never be able to happen again. Ukraine was essentially an administrative colony. I would say, at this point, Russia is going to at least take back Odessa and likely Kiev. It is less clear what would happen with Lviv and the region there, but the guys in Moscow are both practical and vindictive, so it is difficult to know how that will go. Rumor is they are trying to cut a deal to give it to Poland, which the residents in Lviv likely will not like. It could end up something akin to Moldova – likely equally poor.

   I would also say a very large portion of the refugees would return. If war starts in your country – wouldn’t you leave? But then, if you are in a place where you are a refugee, you do not speak the language, you do not have your food, etc., but you have a home to return to, likely you may return. I think the Russians know this and expect some of this. Certainly, not everyone will return as some EU countries are better to live in.

   I would say the second goal to make this not happen again is not to grind away at Ukrainians but to grind away at the foreign fighters and Eric Prince’s army as much as it can. The Russians were able to capture 60-70% of Ukraine’s industrial base in the early months of the war. However, they have been stymied, in part because their army is mediocre with old WWII level equipment and because the private mercs are well-trained special operators. It does look now like the Russians, though, have slowly been grinding them all down. I would also say that all the graft and corruption that goes on in the Western support of the war goes on equally on the Russian side, so some Russian interests are profiting off a long war. Also, there are people on the Russian side who are eager to take possession of their newly acquired capital. The Russians are also big weapons exporters. If they show that they can stand against US at a lower price, there are a lot of buyers.

2. Hello Catherine,

   I am a returning subscriber. I met you at a Solari Luncheon at a Los Angeles golf course in 2017. At the time, I was debating whether or not to go to London Business School, and you encouraged me. I have to say, that was great advice. Frankly, you should maybe do an episode on how the graduates of top business schools run most of the Western governments. I had a business of my own before the MBA, but I just had no idea how much I would be getting from that experience.

   It is mostly through this experience that I can fill in some of the stuff about China. I will also fill in a bit more on Ukraine– as I lived there just before and during the Orange Revolution – but I will do that in a second post because this will be long.

   So I have a long history with Chinese Buddhist organizations. These organizations were mostly Taiwanese, but through them, I met Americans and others who spent a lot of time in China. I also work in tech manufacturing, so I have a lot of connections sourcing and interfacing with people doing business in China.

   China is no longer the world’s factory. Much of this has already moved most to Vietnam and some to India. This process started about when the “Pivot to Asia” was announced, and the Quad was reintroduced as a more formal security pact. You can also look at foreign capital numbers moving in and out of China; the move is reflected here. Also, if you think of intelligence agencies’ function stacking, just add in COVID-19 starting in Wuhan and then making it near impossible for Westerners and Western businesses to function in China.

   I also believe we are already in the first phase of a war. It started as an economic attack, although the Chinese government set itself up for this by running much of its economy as a Ponzi scheme. I do think weather weapons, if you look at the recent floods in Beijing that wiped out surrounding towns or last year when the Yangtze River completely dried up.

   For some other background, when I was at London Business School [LBS] in 2019, some of my cohort came from an economics class where an economist who was involved with CFR types said it had already been decided that war with China was going to happen.

   On a trip to Beijing through LBS that year, we were also briefed by a Western lawyer living there that he believed Xi was allowed to be party leader for life because he had agreed to ensure China retakes Taiwan. Also, on that trip, we were thoroughly briefed that the Chinese market was not open to the West. The terms to set up a Western business in China were that you need a Chinese partner with at least 50% ownership and that you have to turn over source code and other tech design documents to the Chinese gov for anything you are working on. Then we were given several case studies of businesses that went into China only to find the Chinese partner was then setting up a duplicate business secretly. When the Western company tried to sue in Chinese courts, the courts ruled against the Westerner, kicked the Western partner out of the country, and handed everything to the native Chinese person.

   Inferring why American oligarchs may be upset and want war. I would think that all the funneling of American pension fund money to build out China came with a deal that banks and big tech received actual access to the Chinese market and their collateral. Instead, the CCP took the money and screwed them. If you look into the Chinese Companies that trade on NYSE, what those companies’ reporting requirements are, and where the actual ownership is, one then also sees these are all just shell companies. They are more akin to a derivative but have no claim to the assets of the actual Chinese firm.

   There is so much more I can write here, but it is already very long for just a comment.

3. Joseph mentioned about the illegal way the 14th amendment was ratified. This is probably more understood and known about in the south, at least with people informed about our history. There was a lot of “extralegal” measures taken back in the late 1800s.

4. on the hypothesis: depopulate Ukraine to get the land grab. Could this be part of what is going on with the immigration crisis? I know it is not only guatamalans coming across the boarder, but have enough central Americans come across that they have abandoned their land back home?

   1. Very good point. I am sure there is a land grab going on in the countries where population is then moving North. The War on Drugs in Latin America has been an ongoing land grab.

5. On the topic of “new technologies” Dr. Farrell is 1000% wrong. As brilliant, spiritual, intellectual he is he’s missing the point.

   Humanity can not go back to analog and sitting in churches listening to pipe organs.

   The goal of humanity is to bring morality to technology.
   That is what Rudolf Steiner brought to Anthroposophy.
   That is why Atlantis fell.

   There is no going back, it is the task of human evolution. We must move through it and forward.

   I did like your comment on mind control and entrainment techniques. We discussed the topic many times here on Solari and yet I would still like to add some info to the discussion. I have asked myself about the apparently missing common sense in people when they willingly went on to take the injections. I had seen some at the table in the restaurant, almost trembling and claiming they had to take the injections (and were proud of it). I heard others say “I must take the vaccine…I must”. Clearly, a sign of mind control. My dentist, my work mates, all literaly saying the same thing, if not using the same words. People that have never met. My Ex-manager was clearly mind controlled. I got released from my job in Dec 2022. Only after that I found out through the help of a work mate that he had told him: ” There is a guy I don’t like, he doesn’t get the vaccine”. It must have been a major reason in laying me off. Clearly, the guy was mind controlled. By the way, he got fired himself end of October 23. I would call this karmic balance. I was pressured like everyone else who refused to obey. I still think back when I was attacked at the parking lot why I didn’t take the vaccines and on and on and on….

   I was in hospital in March 2023 due to blood poisoning and needed antibiotics intravenously injected. Upon admission to hospital I was asked how many vaccines I had received. I answered none, zero, nada….The nurse asked me two times to understand….even the doctors stared at me with blank eyes as if I was an alien.

   The way I see it, the fake pandemic was, among other things, a test, an exam on the power of judgment and persistence.

   Catherine, what is different with us? Apart from the intelligence that you provide on Solari, is there something else inside us that helps us to withstand these mind control techniques, these pressures, that gives us the ability to think and act differently. I was even aware of the mind orders and knew these were not my thoughts. They couldn’t even trigger me with that technology. Are we vibrating with our brains on a different frequency, is it life experience, is it something else, a little bit of everything….?

   This is off topic, you may have answered this elsewhere but what is your take on the current stock price of Pfizer? It was pretty much hammered down. Is it due to lawsuits coming up?

   1. Too many chances Pfizer gets used as a scapegoat/fall guy.
      Have thought a lot about the mind control question and I really don’t have a firm answer. The more you stay away from TV and certain high entrainment activities like porn, gambling, sports, the less you ingest. But I would love to figure this one out.

      I agree – it was a major test of pushing the mind control. I believe they were pleased with the results. They are just grappling with the trance wearing off re the injections.

8. I can’t remember which part of the WrapUp brought this to mind, but I recall my disappointment with Douglas Valentine’s book “The Phoenix Program”. I had bought the book expecting to read more about a scorched earth pogrom advised by a social anthropologist from one of the US Ivy League Universities.
   If I recall correctly, the concept was to kill the decision makers in the villages, typically the Headman. I won’t try to suggest what the ultimate objective was, but Fusion Centres were part of the strategy.

9. In regards to your comments on AI, I work at an investment firm and the amount of wasted time to get something basic done bc of bad/lazy tech is astounding. The tech is garbage and the processes are not well thought out by people who don’t do the j grunt work that the processes dictate and the people who I deal with to get my job done can’t think beyond what the processes tell them. It’s quite frustrating and what I think is the result of the last 20yr of garbage education and a love affair by higher management with ‘systems’ vs just working to get the job done effectively and efficiently. I try to live in logic and nothing I deal with at work seems logically If they think ai will remove jobs and keep customers they will fail eventually. But I don’t know if that’s the end goal for them

       2. Trump knew a vaccine can not be made and safety tested that fast. No way you can trick him on that. How long do you think it takes to produce billions of doses of a vaxx? A lot longer than Warpspeed had to get up to speed. They had been planning the plandemic a lot longer, we see evidence of patents and orders for the useless test kits going back years – so, did Trump support it or did he force their hand by pushing for early release rather than us being locked down for longer until they “magically saved us with the quackcines”?     People need to realize that it is local and state governments along wt the US Congress that are passing new tax laws and other laws and amendments to steal our assets, to implement ‘The Great Taking’—These legislators work for Mr Global Globaloney not for the American people.

       Trump and Melania were social friends wt Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell—Trump and Melania were at parties on Epstein’s island and had Epstein and Ghislaine at their Key Mar Largo estate for parties.
       Trump is not to be trusted.

       1. Trump also never went to Epstein Island and he had Epstein forcibly removed from Mar-e-Largo. He is not on any flight list to this date for the Island and witness testimony so far has said he was never there either. Trump also paid for attorneys to help go after Epstein for one of his victims.

19. I’m so glad to hear Joseph Farrell mention the importance of the “anti-federalist” papers. I had a nervous impulse about re-reading the Federalist Papers, but somehow knew there was much more. I would like a pointing to writings that could disabuse me of some of what those founders wrote, but thought otherwise. Love your conversations with Dr. Farrell.

Excuse me for being naive, but is maybe the solution to the illegal alien military recruit issue as simple as reaching out to these people and presenting them with flyers or some simple educational pamphlet explaining why they would be breaking the law firing at United States citizens? In their native language? Maybe even make online videos in their native language? I’m not saying all of the military age men would listen, as clearly some are over here for purposes we are not privy to, but you at least educate and therefore create a moral conundrum for future actions if any of these people are in fact ordered to shoot at United States citizens. If the wealthy class really wants to do something effective with its money then it should create an NGO specifically to address this lack of education of these aliens. Heck, I’m sure vets and volunteers alike would have no issue participating in this cause. Looking for commentary from all of Solari if this speaks to any of you.

24. Regarding voting…I gave up my right to vote. I agree about Trump. I also think we have to work outside of the system. Plus, I’ve come to the realization that Presidents are appointed. Everyone says they’re voting for the lesser of 2 evils. Think about that. That is admission that you’re participating in an evil system. It’s similar rational to hitting the red button and selling all of my stock. The whole system is criminal. Participating is endorsing and condoning that evil system.

       I almost fell off my chair living through 70 years of jokes about my hometown. It’s very heritage America here, an outlier for a “blue” city but dotted with conservative towns. Of course the economic hitmen may be out of runway and have returned after the deindustrialization of the region 50 years ago. But again, with the spectacular Niagara Falls, Lake Erie and rivers it is where the waters flow! We don’t take to technocrats here as evidenced by Whole Foods number 1 failure–Buffalo. I was so proud.
