This week on The Solari Report, I will present the theme of the 1st Quarter 2018 Wrap Up: Who’s Who & What’s Up in the Space-Based Economy.

I will review the area of activities, the changes in technology that are inspiring growth and the companies and private enterprises active in space. I will also cover the unanswered questions that make evolving an integrated framework for space economics such a mind-bending challenge.

The Trump Administration is significantly increasing US interest and investment in space. The President has even indicated he wants a “Space Corp.” There is a lot to be excited about.

However, there are also significant concerns. Will investment in space merely be used to justify more central control with surveillance and communications technology combined with high tech weaponry? I will touch on Elana Freeland’s new book, Under An Ionized Sky.

In Let’s Go to the Movies, I recommend another great film from director Ridley Scott – The Martian. The push for man made missions to Mars is on – and it’s a global push. While politicians would have you believe that the US, Russia and China are at each others throats, a remarkable amount of cooperation continues in space. It’s part of becoming a multi-planetary civilization.

I will re-share the list of military, government and corporate facilities, organizations and bases which my research has indicated are directly involved in funneling money from the ‘black budget’ into unconstitutional (and illegal) special access projects related to the space-based economy here for anyone looking to do further research and follow the money (which I recently shared on the subscriber input page).

    – China Lakes
    – George airforce base
    – Norton airforce base
    – Tabletop mountain observatory
    – Blackjack control
    – Fort Huachuca Arizona (Army Intelligence Headquarters),
    – the Redstone Arsenal (in Alabama)
    – Dulce underground complex
    – Cheyanne Mountain complex
    – Pine Gap (underground facility in Australia)
    – Dugway Proving Grounds (outside Provo) a relatively new, expanding underground facility accessible only by air in a remote area of Utah, among others.

    Additional facilities and operations centers exist in a number of other countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, and Russia.

    Numerous agencies have deep cover, black, “USAP-s” related units involved with these operations, including:
    – the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
    – the National Security Agency (NSA)
    – the CIA
    – the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)
    – the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI)
    – Naval Intelligence
    – Army Intelligence
    – Air Force Intelligence
    – DARPA
    – NASA
    – the FBI and others.

    An even more extensive list of private, civilian and corporate entities have significant involvement. The majority of scientific, technical and advanced technology operations are centered in the civilian industrial and research firms. Significant – and lethal – security is provided by private contract.

    – BDM
    – S.A.I.C.
    – Booz-Allen and Hamilton, Inc
    – EG&G
    – Rockwell International

    – Northrop ‘anthill’ (Tejon Ranch)

    – Bechtel corporation (does a lot of the underground base construction for these D.U.M.B.-s)

    – Lawrence Livermore Labs

    My research and sources indicate that the group maintaining this secrecy, at least at a policy level, numbers some 200–300 individuals from a number of countries and represents a powerful array of interests including those connected to financial, technological, security, religious, media, political and scientific areas.

  7. I don’t think humans be going into space if they cannot manage a local community properly. It another way to run away from problems, how easily humans are damaged, crime, corruption, etc. Better to find out how to fix this first. Why isn’t this a major topic of study. my 2 penneth.

    reminded me of the 2015 economist cover which had a small image of a cropduster “crop-o-dust” on it. going to transition to a sprouts heavy diet immediately – the vector may be the entire food supply.

  15. “The Martians”: who do they think they’re fooling with those oh-so-red landscapes and chemical rockets blasting off?

    1. IMO they are hoping to get an entire generation of young people signing up for STEM programs and to become space engineers. It is first and foremost a recruiting film.
