Everywhere I turn, I encounter people of faith who have been alienated from institutions that traditionally had provided them with spiritual, cultural, and community support. Many have left their places of worship, their church homes, and their temples.
In this period of uncertainty and change, we are looking for ways to move forward – to nurture our faith and our soul in the midst of a spiritual war, to rebuild communities that have been drained by financial debasement and lawlessness, and to embrace cultures that help us overcome corruption and tyranny.
One person who can help us see into the heart of things and find our way forward is Thomas H. Meyer. This week, we launch Spiritual Science Academy – a website dedicated to a new course by Thomas about the work of Rudolf Steiner – Spiritual Science in the Present Age.
On Thursday, Thomas joins me for an introductory conversation for subscribers about Spiritual Science Academy and his new course. We will also publish the first lecture, “How Do I Find the Christ?” To me, there is no more important question before us right now. The lecture series is public, so please pass this first lecture on.
We have added a library to the web presentation, which includes all the wonderful Solari Report interviews with Thomas over the last five years. These have also been made public, so they can be circulated widely.
Thomas Meyer is a great teacher of Rudolf Steiner’s work – and of so much more. I am thrilled that he has agreed to lead this effort for us. It is an honor to present his new and accumulated works to you.

It tells a story of how music can serve as an investment in the spiritual health of a community and, by so doing, create transformative power. This is a movie that evokes a sense of meaning. It will strike a chord with all those who’ve been struggling with “the nothing.” It’s time to come back to our power.

Regarding the first lecture. The formulation of “speaking life into a situation” comes alive for me as it seems very pragmatic. I was told by someone who I suspect does not understand R. Steiner much that in order to ” take up the consciousness of another human being” one has to deal with something called the “Watcher at the Threshold”. ? Supposedly that is a kind of shadow projection/counter projection merging of each person’s unconscious “stuff”– if one can step into psychology for a moment. Is that a true approximation and, if so, is it always present but at some point no longer an obstacle to understanding?

When I discovered Steiner, the 8th sphere, Arhiman, I “tripped the light fantastic” or as Milton wrote “Come, and trip it as ye go,
On the light fantastick toe.”
It explained everything as I was on a quest to understand evil, the material plane. I belong to the First Spiritualist Temple and no one wants to discuss evil. So now I just say about the sociopathic rulers “They live in the 8th sphere.” And I refuse to live there! Thank you again, I anxiously await more lectures. Being a member from the beginning, you are truly divine intervention.

Catherine and Thomas, I have waited since childhood (as a child, I was baptised and confirmed in the Episcopal Church) for somone with whom to talk about Jesus/Christ. My inability to buy the stories has kept me from church since then despite my continued search for meaning. It happens that I consider myself a “student” of Tom Cowan who has deepened my respect for Rudoplh Steiner. I have toyed with the idea of studying Steiner’s work and almost signed up for an online course being offered now and decided that I cannot go as deeply into his work at this bizarre, precarious, dazzling time because I have work to do in both the outer world and the inner world that are calling to me. This first talk – and the knowledge that there will be more – has stirred something inside me, bringing feelings from my journeys into Gnostic texts – Gurdjieff, Erasmus, Santa Terèsa de Avila, and my work with Biogemetry, and now Tom Cowan and Lee Harris. Something is coming full circle. I joined your readership, Catherine, not long ago, and “attended the Covid Summit in which you played a major part (great clarity there), and have not been able to comprehend much of your financial discussion – algebra to me, or chemistry (geometry and microbiology were what made me zing). Yet, I have stayed with you and the Solari Report, not quite knowing why, remaining curious. Now, I am simply smiling at the lovely surprise of serendipity, my favorite of experiences. Thank-you in advance. I expect I will have questions. I expect that if they are not answered here, they will be when I am ready to hear them.
